The Ammo Crisis Is Solved With This One Simple Trick*

Having trouble finding fodder for your AR-pattern rifle, without going bankrupt?

No problem. Apparently there’s a simple rifle modification that…

Well, let NCPR’s Karen DeWitt tell you.

Hochul to propose closing loopholes in New York’s gun laws
The gun used by the suspect, an automatic rifle known as an AR-15, is sold legally in New York. But the gun was modified with a high-capacity magazine that allows 30 shots per round.

Yes! 30 shots per round. A feat that previously required a shop and a pile of components. But now a simple mod allows you to do it on the fly; no shop, bullets, powder, or primers needed.

Have fun reading that column. 30 shots/round was just one issue (that “automatic rifle known as an AR-15” is a clue). I wrote to her to recommend adding me to her rolodex so I can advise her on how firearms and law actually work.

* Yes, that’s deliberately click-baity. I’ve always wanted a chance to say that, just to ridicule the usual suspects.

  1. Three thousand shot drum AR is what Azov Battalion needs! The handguard will reheat your rations. Bullet making elves teleport lead vapor in front of the bolt, where it rematerializes at 3100 fps and forms into a copper jacketed slug and begins etching the grooves into the barrel. The barrel wears out when the grooves etch to the outside of the barrel, requiring a new metal tube.
    You know the thing.
