Sometimes The Title Is All You Need

I was scrolling through freebie streaming movies, and a title caught my eye. I just knew what studio was responsible, even though I’d never heard of the flick before.

Shark Side of the Moon

The description nailed it.

Decades ago, the USSR developed unkillable sharks and launched them to the moon. Today, a team of American astronauts will endure the fight of their lives.

That’s just had to be The Asylum.

Yep. No, I’m not planning to watch it. You can, and let me know how bad it was.

Apparently there quite a market for really bad SF movies — especially their mockbusters — because The Asylum has been making money off this stuff for over 25 years. I figure they’ve monopolized the pothead market, because that’s the only way to watch some of their flicks.

If you found this post useful, please consider dropping something in my tip jar. I could really use the money, what with ISP bills, site hosting and SSL certificate, new 2021 model hip, and general life expenses.
