TZP Column: Trump And The Damage Done

Trump Vows To Do More
Trump spoke at the NRA’s annual meeting.

Reminding gun owners what he did for the protection of the Second Amendment and pledging to do much more, former President Donald Trump closed the National Rifle Association’s main event Friday with a stemwinder that brought the crowd to its feet.

What he did for 2A protection? Lessee…
[…]
And he’s “pledging to do much more?” While didn’t act on them before, Trump has supported no-due process red flag orders, raising the age to buy any firearm to 21, and an “assault weapon” ban. Is that the “more” he’s promising? If the Dims were paying attention, they’d nominate Trump themselves over Xiden.

Biden’s AI Czar?!

This should work out so well.

Biden’s AI Czar Wants To Crack Down On ‘Misinformation,’ Prevent ‘Discriminatory Outcomes’
The Biden administration is moving toward artificial intelligence (AI) regulation that would mandate government reviews to ensure reliable and unbiased results, according to Assistant Commerce Secretary for Communications and Information Alan Davidson’s remarks at the University of Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

This may include evaluations of whether AI is spreading misinformation and disinformation, said Davidson, who leads the National Telecommunication and Information Administration (NTIA). He suggested government audits may help establish trust in this rapidly advancing technology, comparing it to the financial industry.

Because they did such a wonderful job with Sam Bank-Fraud’s FTX, and the Silicon Valley Bank failure and bailout.

Davidson said audits would assist regulators in assessing whether AI systems lead to “discriminatory outcomes or reflect unacceptable levels of bias” and help determine whether they “promote misinformation, disinformation, or other misleading content,” he added.

And who better to make sure private AIs control “misinformation, disinformation, or other misleading content” than they scumbags who thought the Ministry of Truth was cool, and tried to inflict a Disinformation Governance Board on the country formerly known as America.

But let’s back up…

The Biden administration is moving toward artificial intelligence (AI) regulation…

Full stop, bud. Regulation? Under precisely what law passed by Congress and signed by the President? Gettin’ a bit ahead of yourself.

As for Congress… Take a look at Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution. Show me the clause that delegates to Congress the power to regulate how privately owned software operates, and what outcomes said software must generate.

While social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook are known to cultivate toxic political environments often punctuated with violent rhetoric, OnlyFans and Pinterest are not known for threats against those protected by the Secret Service,” Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington remarked in a statement this week.

TZP Column: A Right Delayed

Universal… waiting periods?

I’M SURE CHICAGO GANGBANGERS WILL BE GREATLY INCONVENIENCED
What was that line about A right delayed…?

The Dims are at it again. Rep. Elissa Slotkin [Dumbass-MI-7] has filed a federal waiting period bill, H. R. 2392 To require a seven-day waiting period before the receipt of a firearm.

I Got Your Reparations Right Here!

Under the circumstances, I think that was a perfect response to a demand for “reparations.”

Customer Gets Punched By Security Guard After Demanding Reparations: Report
A security guard in Ohio reportedly punched a customer in the face after she demanded the store credit her over $1,000 worth of groceries because of “reparations.”

Surveillance video of the incident here. It’s rather more than just demanding “reparations” and getting punched.

And I take exception to the use of “customer” in the headline. A bitch walking in and trying to steal a thousand bucks of merchandise cuz I deserves it is a thief, not a customer.

Another Supply Chain Crisis

Nationwide shortage of Black sperm donors
CBS News analyzed the numbers at four major U.S. cryobanks, where sperm is donated, and found 53% of available sperm is from White donors, while less than 4% is from Black donors. The lack of options forces many women of color to choose between having a child that doesn’t look like them or not having a baby at all.

I’m guessing that most black men simply prefer making direct deposits with the end user, which begs a question.

Why not just use Tinder to find a donor? It’s a hell of a lot cheaper.

Then there’s this.

This leaves many women like Jamila Galloway with a choice between having a child that doesn’t reflect their own race and culture or not having a baby at all.

Galloway is 40 and single. When she decided to use a sperm donor to have a child, she hoped for a baby that looked like her. However, her options were limited when she filtered the search for donors of her own race.

Imagine the outcry if some random white woman went on national TV to whine that she was forced to use black sperm.

Don’t Go Sticking Your Plug In Strange Holes

The FBI — as usual — is way behind the power curve. I guess they’re too busy spying on Latin Mass Catholics to keep up with basic security.

FBI warns public against using free charging station, says ‘bad actors’ can introduce malware
The FBI is urging the public to be wary of using free charging stations that have become common sights in airports, hotels, and shopping centers.

The bureau’s Denver office warned that “bad actors” have figured out ways to use public USB ports to introduce malware and monitoring software onto devices.

As soon as I became aware some years ago that these free USB charging points were appearing that using one was a bad idea. And someone could do a lot more than upload a little malware.

You don’t know what’s on the other side of that jack. Is it just a DC power supply, or is it the port on someone’s laptop.

If it’s the latter, they could copy every bit of data — documents, dirty pictures, phone/address book, everything — on your phone.

I’d bet good money, if I had any, that they only figured this out because multiple feds got hacked this way.

Pot, Kettle

For the life of me, I can’t recall where I first saw this observation, nor by whom. But it’s been said that if you want to know what the Dims/Left are up to, look at what they accuse conservatives of doing.

For instance, the crazed Lefties constantly invoke the dystopian nove The Hand Maid’s Tale, claimimg evil Repugnantcans are trying control women’s reproduction and turn them into breeding machines with no rights, or something.

And yet, it’s the Lefties who stridently insist on reducing real women to mere birthing persons, who seemingly have no other valid function in the eyes of the Left.

But then, the Dims are the ones claiming that Reps are trying to bring back the DIms’ Jim Crow laws, too.
