And without knowing how the kid identifies, how do they know it’s a boy? I see no mention of a report from a credentialed biologist.
Speaking of biologists, I took a look at the Wikipedia page — that font of all correct knowledge — for Ketanji Brown Jackson. Weirdly, it consistently refers to the SCOTUS nominee as “her” and “she.” But nowhere do a see a citation for a determination from a biologist. They assumed Jackson’s gender!
I might have cut them some slack if they’d at least linked to documentation of KBJ’s own stated “preferred pronouns.” But again, “she” isn’t a biologist, so how would she know?
