Common Carrier: Facebook, Twitter, et al

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas makes an excellent point.

Thomas wrote that companies, who are not subjected to the first amendment, do not have the “right to exclude.”

I’ve worked for phone companies. Yes, they are common carriers. And let me tell you, we not only could not censor customers, we weren’t supposed to listen in beyong the most limited monitoring to do maintenance. And telling anyone what you did accidentally overhear was a felony; which is why I can’t tell about one truly bizarre phone call I heard during a forced lightwave system switch. He has a new… what??

I think Thomas is correct. And… it would even be helpful to the big social media platforms to have that status. Interfering with a common carrier’s operation is a federal felony. That’s one more tool in the box for fixing hackers and spammers. The companies would lose their alleged right to censor speech thy don’t, but wouldn’t it be worth it?

More on the NRA (delenda est) making excuses for Hunter Biden

Remember that from last month? We knew it was unlikely that he lawfully purchased that handgun. Then the idiot published a memoir and started giving interviews to confirm it.

And he still at it, with an actual timeline.  Hunter Biden clarifies that he definitely was an active addict and user of illegal drugs at the time he lied on the 4473 to purchase that handgun. Yes, he was a prohibited person.

But when Beau died of brain cancer in 2015, Hunter began a four-year descent into the darkest period of his addiction, what he calls “a blur of complete and utter debauchery.”

“Drinking a quart of vodka a day by yourself in a room is absolutely, completely debilitating,” Hunter told Mason, adding he was “smoking crack around the clock” and “drinking insanely lethal amounts of alcohol.”

By 2019, he’d become a target of the Trump campaign and yet, Hunter said, “It didn’t change my behavior in any way. I still needed to get high. I still needed to hide. I still needed to fill that hole.”

Hunter Biden: A Slap in the Face to America

Even as many people are calling for Biden to face the same consequences any other drug addict would have for lying on a 447, and unlawfully possessing a firearm, this idiot…

Admits it. He wrote a book seemingly detailing his addiction in detail (nota bene: I haven’t read what has been called “probably the sleaziest autobiography ever,” and I don’t plan to).

In Beautiful Things, Hunter recounts his descent into substance abuse and his tortuous path to sobriety. The story ends with where Hunter is today—a sober married man with a new baby, finally able to appreciate the beautiful things in life.

Even better, he’s running around giving interviews on national television, with more gross details.

“I spent more time on my hands and knees picking through rugs smoking anything that resembled crack cocaine. I probably smoked more Parmesan cheese than anyone – than anyone you know, Tracy.”

In a sane world, he’d be under indictment already. The prosecution would enter his book and interviews as conclusive evidence of his crimes.

But we don’t live in a sane world. We live in Bizarroworld, where his senile father was “elected” to the Presidency despite not even knowing what office he was running for. We live in a crazy world where the double standards for the elite have never been more starkly evident.

Do these idiots even know what they are objecting to?

Democrats, Bye-Biden, Coca Cola, Major League Baseball, Delta Airlines, Stacey Abrams… the list goes on … think Georgia’s new elections laws are horrible. Have they even read it?

Here’s what they are opposing:

  • Expanded early voting, including weekends
  • Elimination of subjective signature verification by untrained clerks
  • Legalized absentee ballot drop boxes
  • Fairly distributing those drop boxes
  • No-excuse absentee voting
  • Deadlines that help ensure mail-in ballots arrive in time to be counted
  • Limiting the power of the Secretary of State to meddle in county elections

Sure, there are troubling aspects; like requiring absentee voters to be smart enough to figure out that their driver license number is the one labeled “DL No.” Even the ID requirement is tough to meet…

since one of the many acceptable forms of ID is the free voter ID. Or a utility bill.

Yes; I am being sarcastic. If anyone in Section 8 housing, drawing EBT, or on Medicaid/Medicare claims they can’t meet the voter ID requirement, they are lying.

Proof positive that Democrats are stupid

Dim operative Marc Elias thinks Georgians are too stupid to figure out the right “driver license number” to put on an absentee ballot application

In fact, he just showed how moronic he is. Georgians are generally smart enough to figure out that the number labeled “DL No.” is the Driver License Number.

If you can’t figure that out, you probably not shouldn’t be voting, but you probably won’t be able to register anyway.

Funny: Critical Race Theory Implodes

Daily Caller has a story about a Loudoun County Public Schools incident.

A student is shown a picture of to pretty young women, with the side caption “What is race?” and is asked what he sees. The student responds, “That’s just two people chilling.”

The teacher indoctrinator gets upset and keeps insisting that the student sees something else, and is merely playing “coy.”

Finally…

Student: “I’m confused. Are you trying to get me to say that there are two different races in this picture?”

Indoctrinator: “Yes! I am asking you to say that.”

Now I’ll show you the picture.

I recognized those girls, and you might, too. They’re relatively famous. They aren’t “two different races.” Racially, they’re exactly the same. They’re fraternal twin sisters. Mixed race, for whatever that means. Just a couple of cute girls.

But the CRT weenie demands to see them as black and white. Crazed Racist Theorists see nonexistent racial differences.

Delta Airlines Will No longer Require ID To Fly

ATLANTA, 4/1/2021 — Delta Airlines (DAL) CEO Ed Bastian issued a company-wide memo discontinuing the requirement that prospective passengers show a government issued photo ID to fly.

“I have realized that our identification requirement is racist, as Blacks and other minorities are too stupid to figure out how to get an ID, even though one can obtain a free state ID card in hardship cases,” Bastian’s memo stated. “It is far more important to have an inclusive annd diverse passenger payload, than to be secure in knowing that suspected terrorists might board an aircraft and kill our social justice-approved clients.”

When asked if expanding the minority share of terror victims truly supported the cause of “Black lives matter,” an unnamed Delta representative said, “Of course Black lives matter, so it’s important that theirs end in vile terrorist attacks just as often as whites die.” Xe added that Delta will be dropping FAA certification requirements for new airframe and avionics technician hires, as the math and reading comprehension skills required for certification disproportionately favor whites.

“It’s more important to have an inclusive workforce than to keep our planes safely in the air.”

Do note the date.

“easier to assemble than Legos”

Schumer on “ghost guns.” Holds up a picture, points to a slide, and calls it a barrel. But he’s the expert with all the answers.

He’s calling on the ATF to redefine “firearm” to include “any part as a firearm.”

Any. PART.

No. Your move, Chuckles
